What's in it

Everything you’d go looking for. Already found.

Bedhead Brief reads the mail and calendars you already have in Apple Mail and Calendar: work, home, Outlook, Gmail and iCloud alike.

Today's schedule

Every meeting in order, with who's coming. All-day events sit at the top. Tap a meeting to open its day in your calendar.

High priority

The next 30 days, filtered down to what matters: meetings with the people and topics you choose, with a countdown to each.

Your people · your topics

Outstanding commitments

AI reads your last two weeks of email and reminds you of what you promised, what people are waiting on, and calls that still need a date.

Optional · about $3 a month, paid to Anthropic

Travel

Always on your time zone.

Fly to Boston and your next brief still lands at 4:00, Boston time, with your meetings shown in Boston time too. When you're away, a note under the date says which time zone you're reading.

ZURICH04:00MON 2 NOV · UTC+1BRIEF DELIVERED
BOSTON04:00THU 5 NOV · UTC−5BRIEF DELIVERED
TOKYO04:00TUE 10 NOV · UTC+9BRIEF DELIVERED

Wherever you land, the brief follows you. Whether your Mac is a desktop at home or a MacBook that's with you, your iPhone tells it which time zone you're in, using a free Shortcut you add once. It runs by itself when you land and when you charge your phone.

Only the time zone, never your location · Set up in six taps · Optional

Overnight

While you sleep, your Mac does the reading.

Bedhead Brief wakes your Mac a few minutes before your brief, reads only the mail that's new since yesterday, and sends one email. Then it lets the Mac go back to sleep.

Privacy

Your mail stays on your Mac.

  • No Bedhead Brief servers. It runs on your own Mac and sends from your own email account.
  • Passwords in your Keychain. The same place macOS keeps your other passwords.
  • Saved mail is encrypted. The copy it keeps to read only new mail each night can't be opened without your Keychain.
  • AI only if you want it. Commitments are optional. If you turn them on, recent mail text goes to Anthropic's AI, which doesn't train on it.
  • Uninstall removes everything. Settings, saved mail, keys and the nightly job, in one click.
